Docklands Light Railway Play Your Part Campaign
This internal communications campaign was created for Serco Docklands, franchise operator of Docklands Light Railway (DLR) at the time. The campaign was aimed at staff members, encouraging to them to take pride in their work and elevate customer satisfaction even higher. To give the campaign a friendly and fun feel illustrated characters were used, rather than photography, with DLR staff portrayed as the ‘heroes’. The characters featured in a variety of applications, including a series of comic strips which I illustrated, depicting stories of how DLR staff had gone above and beyond to help customers. The campaign also featured desk drops, standees and a spectacular cityscape artwork, installed on the walls of the 15-metre long pedestrian tunnel (used by staff members to access the station from the depot).
